Isn't it 50 dollars for a year subscription and the headset? If I get some decent games for the xbox soon I may get it but not sure.
Didn't you already decide that the Xbox had no good games?Originally posted by: coldcut
How much is Xbox live and is it worth it? Who here uses there Xbox to go online? How often do you play? Better then pc online gaming?
Is Unreal Championship, MechAssault useless game without going online?

XboxConnect isn't "all that". Not only is it laggier, a PITA to find a game to get into, and all-around less dependable than Live... There just aren't that many games going on.
For instance, right now there are 57 servers showing up. Two are playing Ghost Recon, one MechAssault, and the others are Halo. So... It is good for Halo online.
Yes, you are correct. There is one thing that XBC does very well... Play Halo. Other than that, there's really no use for it.Originally posted by: dabuddha

Which you couldn't do at all with XBox Live.

That's what I've heard as well. BTW you can also play Brute Force with it. And you can't beat the price either 🙂

But remember, you get what you pay for.
XBConnect is good, but in my experience it's got to much lag. And running from my computer to my console gets old quick. With Live I rarely have lag.

Agreed. I'd love to get live but I want to see more games come out that use it first.
