It doesn't matter. You're going to spend $200 to replace it, no matter what you do. What would you rather have? A NEW xbox, or a refirb one (because more than likely, that's what they'll send). If you do sell it, whatever you make is just bonus and will help offset the cost of a new one. Besides, people on ebay are still paying more than $200 for the ps2, even after you can get it for the same price everywhere else. That's why it's best to list it as soon as possible, because the price cut this week is still a rumor. Edit: You also might want to call microsoft again and ask what the repair charge will be AFTER the console's drop. Remember, it's still just a rumor at this point, so the repair folks wouldn't be taking the lower price into account. I'd bet they're not going to charge $200 to replace it after the console is retailing for that
