I have sources that state it will NOT be called the 360.

It's very sleek. I thought the PS2 was a good looking console, but in that comparision shot the PS2 looks positively barbaric what all its holes and grills and jarred edges.

Still, I don't care much about what a console looks like.

The thing looks alright. It does look like they tried to copy an Apple or at least Sony-ish design, but that's not a bad thing.

Of course, who knows whether its real or not, its easy enough for anyone to just fabricate those images out of nothing.

Oh, by the way, would the wireless controllers require batteries or have they developed a practical way to transfer power through waves?

I wouldn't mind wireless controllers - the only thing I wouldn't like about it is the battery situation - I wouldn't want to keep buying batteries for my controllers - especially since I tend to buy as many as possible for multiplayer gaming.

ok, i follow the world of the PC, not the console...only console i buy is Nintendo for Zelda games 🙂

is this XBox 360 the XBox 2? or just a revamped XBox?

and controllers wireless only sounds stupid to me, i know in general you are not likely to feel lag compared to a wired controller (altho if this connects so you can play CS:S then u may possibly notice a small difference) BUT, if like me you have a phat home cinema system using proper hifi speakers, in other words ones that are NOT magnetically shielded, there is a lot of electro magnetic energy flying around that can intefere with wireless devices....hence my using a wired router, tried the wireless part of it, kept dropping signal when i ran my cinema system.....

anyhow, its late, im drunk, i have given my two penneth, so i leave you in pieces 🙂
