There are a lot of multimedia options in a 360 for a non gamer
A 360 with the HD addon is not a bad idea for things like buying HD TV shows, renting HD movies, etc
I doubt I will get the HD drive as I assume there will be a way to store the HD movies you can now download from the marketplace. A 6 gig download for a JD movie though has me going....uhhhh don't want to download that size of a file and a mass storage addon is really a must now ( where is it M$ ?)

Plus there are tons of free things there from trailers for movies and music

Justa being able to stream music/avi/wmv/mpeg from your PC network to the TV. You can use tversity to transcode avi files onthe fly or if you have Windows media center 2005 trancode 360 might be better. Thats what I use.

But I have found no more reason to burn a VCD or a DVD to play in a player. I don't even have to get up to turn it on. Browse to the folders > Play Movie/TV/whatever it is

loving my 360 with every firmware update more and more

If I can get gears out of it I might sleep. 5 am last night ;x
