They were giving out free v1.0 CDs at LinuxWorld Expo in San Fran in August.  I installed it and it was buggy as hell.  After finally getting the patches installed, it was pretty reasonable.  It's a Debian based OS from what I understand (didn't poke around too much).  Some things are nicely candy coated, but to me, it needed polish (ie. the update utility is browser based and kept telling me that updates were available even though I had installed them).  Shows potential, but there are better dists out there right now that aren't commercial.
