The heat is going to be a bit much over 1.55V. If 2.8GHz isn't stable, settle for 2.75GHz or 2.7GHz with less voltage and heat.

Currently 2.7Ghz is my top bench speed. I am hopeful that this burn-in cycle is not a mythe but will help it to oc further after some getting used to at a higher speed.

24/7 use is @ 2.4GHz with 1.4v, only because I forget what stock voltage is.

Stock is actually closer to 1.26V from most reports on various forums. That is what my DFI defaults to.

Temps are not a problem with the CM stacker and Zalman running. This set-up is all about cooling and pretty good silence.

That doesn't mean that is what it is.....AMDs own specs say 1.35v-1.4v....1.29 for me on my board would make perfect sense if the board was undervolting like it always has....

I agree Duvie. My CPU sits at 1.3 stock.

There is no such thing as a stock "1.4 Vcore X2". At least, not yet.

it is 1.35-1.4v stock....the reason you guys are seeing so low is a product of mobo and undervolting or immature bioses...it is more likely that my cpu is 1.35v and then it undervolts .06 like it always has...Doesn't mean the default vcore is 1.3v...cmon serious ppl!!!!!!

Well in any case, at least the CPUs are performing stable at VCore <1.3V at stock speeds. Gives them a little more headroom when overclocking.

Yeah, but I can even run 2600 MHz with 24/7 stability (100% load on both cores) at 1.3 Vcore. It's possible, but a 200 MHz OC while being undervolted?

I would expect that CPU to break the 30 sec barrier. My not too good 3000 Winnie running at 2475MHz core speed with 5:6 mem divider will yield 34 sec 1M SuperPi.
