Probably fake but definatly not out of reach for ATI. W/ 80nm process and a slightly better cooler 750/1800 is hardly impossible for them to reach.

If its quiter and faster it ill be all for it!

Right now they are pretty much the same, and i give NV the nod for easier to configure drivers, less phone calls to me :p

Somebody has got to PM Cooler about this card!! He's been waiting for this for awhile now.
Nice find OP!

Edit- I wonder if they are using the same memory as the 1900XTX's? And if they are, how did they get a 900 clock out of it from the 1900's 750?

X1900 memory is 1.1ns which means it is rated for 1800 MHz effective anyway.

X1900XT- $430-450 price point
X1900XTX- $500 price point

Where does the X1900XL fit into that? ATI already has a very solid lineup in EVERY area. ATI doesnt need an X1900XL when the X1800XT already competes fairly well w/ the 7900GT, even if you do consider oc'ing, since you can oc the X1800XT to 695/1600 easily and most likely beyond.

After X1950:

X1800GTO- $175-200 price point
X1800XT - $275-300 price point
X1900XTX - $400 price point
X1950XT - $500 price point
X1950XTX- $600 price point

That's my guess.

Yeah, this is 90% fake. Some small grammar/typographical errors give it away from what I can see. Still, this sounds like a good possibility. As I said above, a better HSF+80nm should easily make 750/1800 possible.

Agreed. I say it's fake for sure. Too many errors...

Well supposedly there will be a X1900XL and a X1900GTO coming as well so ATI should definately have a card for every mid-range budget. The XL is supposed to use 1.4ns ram so that's not TOO bad-wish they went 1.2ns though.

Beyond that, I doubt they'd keep that HSF given the issues users are reporting with it. I'd expect the X1950XTXPE to have a Silencer or Zalman type cooling solution.

It would just be too risky of a business move for ATI to use the XT/XTXs fan.

I have told people a long time ago from the memory clock speeds of xtx that better version would come out later on.

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=30687 - 2nd to last paragraph.

Still, where does it fit? The X1900 AIW is 48ps and 500/980 and gets eaten alive by the X1800XT, unless the X1900XL is much faster it will too. It would have to BEAT the X1800XT and be available for -$300. In most games a 550/1300 or so X1900 isnt going to beat a 625/1500 X1800XT just because it has 3x the shaders.

The picture is just a background for the slide. How do you know this is a picture of the X1950XTX's cooling solution. I bet this information is accurate.

Anyone else notice the "Watch for our Gemini GPU announcement"

I can't wait.
