Yea, I wanted to upgrade to one of these. But not going to due to the fact that it is just about identical to the card I have now. Plus I probably have better cooling.

Yeah I don't think this makes any sense at all....

X1900 GT MSRP 249US
X1900 XT 256 MSRP 279US
X1950 Pro MSRP 299US
X1900 XT 512 MSRP 349US
X1900 XTX MSRP 399US
X1950 XTX MSRP 449US

X1950 Pro at 299US is not much of a threat to the 7950 GT MSRP 299US. If it is a X1900 GT replacement, make the MSRP 249US at least.

if you don't need ONE slot card then x1950 Pro is out of question.
You can get for the less x1900 xt/256 that is FASTER too.

Nope, the X1950p in AGP is just a rumour caused by someone getting their wires crossed. Diamond announced the X1650p AGP and some sites reported it as X1950p. It's a shame for those on AGP but I guess they really want your money spent on a new motherboard & graphics card.

Of course, if a manufacturer has some "Rialto" chips left over they might work with the X1950 but I wouldn't hold out much hope on that front.

I picked up one at Best Buy today. It's much faster than the 7900GS that I returned, not to mention I'm no longer having any visual artifact issues.

Yes agp is confirmed. link

AGP will be around for quite some time yet. In fact, PowerColor will be introducing AGP versions of X1650 and X1950 PRO very soon. There are still a lot of people that have systems that work perfectly fine and simply require a slight upgrade for their graphics.

Or did I not read the whole thread again? :D

I'm on autonotify for the zzf deal! Not bad, I was planning on a x1900gt, but I guess this is better.
That gecubed x1950 pro 512mb should be on par w/ the 7950gt and that cooler is 7900gtx-esque. Sweet, but $100 more than I want to spend.

this doesn't apply to the ones mentioned here, but there are two asus versions: the "crossfire" version that comes with two bridges, and the normal that comes with none. so always check for the bridge(s) if crossfire is in your plans.

also, the sapphire one doesn't have VIVO, though most people don't / understand how to use it so it's kinda moot.
