I don't know. OCing is always YMMV and I don't really consider OCability as indicative of chip value. You have to void your warranty, you might wreck the card, etc etc..
Saying a card has value due to OCing is weak, performance has to be there at stock. The cards you're comparing it to can be OCd as well.

Well he topped out below an XT because he doesn't have a proper overclocking tool yet.

Well he topped out below an XT because he doesn't have a proper overclocking tool yet.
He made it seem like he needed better cooling...perhaps his 7800 waterblock....He had 83c loads in 3dmark early and with the ceramique curing he got it down into the 70's....I think water would be good but he even stated he doesn't think he can hit GTX speeds...his words.....
I myself dont like cracking the retail hsf off so for me this oc wont do much. I like easy clock that doesn't involve a chance of screwing somthing up by removing the old heatsink...
