for asshat wwe fanboy #2.... that was hilarious :) i wonder if you got that joke from a friend at work while you were bagging groceries. keep 'em coming, louis anderson!

Way to rip off last week's Family Guy.

How about this: If we really need to insult each other, take it to PM.

Also, you may not agree with the company he worked for and it's fan base, but you can't deny he was a great athlete and a real showman. Why not learn to distinguish between a thread paying respects to the dead and a thread mocking those he entertained?

I agree. It boggles my mind what one is thinking coming into a tribute thread for someone that died and mock the deceased, or the ones paying tribute.

1, you don't know how he died. he might have died from an overdose (which is dumber than ******).
2, i didn't mock him. i implied that he's probably up in heaven having fun.
3, fake wrestling = creates terrible gender-roll assignments as well as promoting discrimination (which is probably why primarily white trash watches it).

1. True
2. Making light of death = mocking
3. So does the whole entertainment industry

i don't watch family guy when football's on. sorry. what part do you think i stole from family guy?

either way, i didn't mock the guy. i implied that he was in heaven having fun. get over it... jeez. is wwe fake? yes. is it geared towards simple-minded people? yes (that's why they create such ridiculous images of blacks, french, gays, women, etc). do i feel any personal loss because this guy died? no. however, i do feel bad for his family. losing family you love is never fun.

1. ok.
2. wrong. it's making light of death. that's completely different. mocking would be like if i said something like "OOOOH, AND HE'S DOWN FOR THE COUNT!" or "soooooooo.... i guess the undertaker wins?"... something like that.
3. meh, not exactly to the extent at which fake wrestling does. they go above and beyond.
