whats intelligent about creating human beings with wisdom teeth we have to take out?
or is the suffering of mangled teeth some kind of god given corporeal mortification?

Please go back to school and learn about evolution. Thanks!

well i was watching CNN late last night and during they show some reporter said that '53% of Americans believe in creationism' wtf

who the hell cares?

People who pitch a bitch because a certain segment of the population still believes in creationism, is no better that than same group of people who pitch a bitch think others are ignorant for NOT believing in it.

well no, because a segment of society if it grows big enough becomes rather dangerous if they are ignorant. eventually their ignorance transfers into policy on science...funding or whatever..

I love how the creationists can stand in front of multiple established sciences (geology, paleontology, astrophysics, biology, etc...) that hold concrete verifiable proof in their hands that stands in direct opposition to their belief and berate them for not knowing precisely how every step in evolution occurred yet. The idea that this somehow validates their position is laughable in the extreme and indicative of how deep their self-delusion and need to believe in Genesis version of the origin of life goes.

Creationists can present no logical or scientific case for their version of events. They have to spend all their time trying to poke holes in legitimate scientific work that they feel challenges their cherished religious beliefs.

How did god come into existence?

If one believes that god simply sprang into existence, or always is, always was, and always will be, what's so hard about modifying that to matter sprang into existence or matter always is, always was, and always will be?

If one believes god was created, who created god and why don't we worship them instead?

Muaha, the days of Creationists are coming to an end. They used to be 100%, and after all this time, rational thinking will be taking over.

Easy: Who created God? Who Created the Big Bang? What created the first atom? What created that which did the creating? Boom! Paradox!

HeroOfPellinor, you're a real prick. Half the stuff you post you take out of context, and the other half is just plain bullshit.

Reading your posts is mind throbbing. Not a single person here has to read any threads on the forum, but when something interesting comes along, and some idiot flames away with his never-make-any-sense propaganda, it tends to make you wish you were a mod so you could cast him off to some bible-thumpin' forum.

Other than that, great stuff on the discussion gentlemen! Wouldn't you know, I'm really digging the evolution arguments. ;)

Yeah, is ATOT exempt from forum rules or something??

*Prays to Thor so that he may smite down HOP with his mighty ban hammer*

Doh, that's right, Norse Mythology is no longer a "religion" and instead a "myth" just because it's so "far-fetched"! *cough*

Edit: In case I have to spell it out for HOP, my point is that Norse creationism and Christian creationism are fundamentally no different. So tell me what makes your "Genesis" the one and only TRUTH, when there are hundreds of creation stories from different cultures just like yours? Evolutionism (and science in general) has been the one TRUE thing in my life that doesn't require my faith, or a serious suspension of reality.

Wake me up when The Rapture comes.
