Some people actually think that by being even more of a rude, stupid, irritating asshole they will get their way.

Yep. In previous jobs i've had to deal with people who are utterly convinced that the use of threats, curses, and demeaning attitudes towards the people that prepare their food will get the order out faster.

in reality, it just made me care less that I forgot their fries or their sauces. Oops.

HINT TO THE A-HOLES: You catch more flies with sugar than vinegar. Stop being a jerk and maybe we won't hate you or put bodily fluids in your chicken picatta.

Is he calling in on an 800#? If he is, you can call your 800# provider and they can block him from calling your 800#. If he's really bad, they may be able to block him from calling ALL the 800 #'s they provide on their network. I used to work for AT&T in their network security office, and one of the groups we had could block people from calling our 800 #'s for being abusive to our customers.

Call the cops. That constitutes assault. It's time to blow the whistle on him.

He calls back 2 more times and blows the whistle in our ears. He is definitely now not getting a refund. What is wrong with this guy?

Where do you work?

Is it a real whistle or a squeel? Sometimes hearing aides counteract with phones and make them whistle...

Even if that's true (which I'm thinking that the hearing aid might whistle, but, not the phone)...

It only happens 10x after he calls to get a refund and can't, but before that was fine?

I think that's a bit of a stretch.
