I'm doing a lot better now.., but yeah I know, and I've tried. Unfortunately it's not easy to get hired now, what with layoffs all over the place. :/

Yep. Here in MI we are laying cops off like crazy because we are broke. But then we are spending millions on fixing roads that don't need to get fixed because we got stimulus money. :hmm:

I wouldn't deal with all the deviants and degenerates cops have to for any money. Must be a great life getting cussed at, spit on, stabbed, shot at, and being publicly lambasted when and if you defend yourself.

some people do what they do cause they believe in it..
some others need a place to sleep and has mouth to feed and so work wherever they can and are interested in.

would anyone imagine current society without police officers?
think about it for a moment and you'll turn back the next.
anyhow,
everyone does something,
probably anyone that has studied computers for a while, can understand how hard it is,
writing softwares should be very demanding, it's no wonder they get such salaries.

on a different note,
someone has raised a though "what do you care how much these companies pay they're employees"?

then, you would care wouldn't you?
when you buy a CPU or an SSD/GC, a new car, whatever,
you eventually pay a lot of money for the cost of designers, maintainers, managers etc. etc.
it comes to you eventually, whether it is by taxes,
or other type of taxes ...
