So last week my dad calls me and wants me to fix his computer. I was like sure just bring the tower by my house. He doesn't do it because he is lazy as shit. Today he calls and asks if I can come by and fix it. I tell him he is more than welcome to come by and drop it off and I will fix it for him. he hangs up and calls back and acts like a baby and tells me to forget it..WTF? I am offering to help him and he is pissy because I won't drive to his house to do it.

Think about it. If he had just pulled out and shot you on the stomach like he promised he would, you wouldnt be here. So be grateful to him. And Jack Daniels.
 
you would get sympathy if it were a friend or non immediate family member but because it's your dad you come off looking like an asshat. it's your dad, help the guy who raised your ass out?
 
He fucking raised you!!! He changed the diapers on your shitty ass and woke up at 3am in the motherfucking morning to do it! He wasn't able to bone your mother for MONTHS because of your sorry ass. This is how you repay him? You ungrateful little shit! 😛
 
I would but last week he promised he was going to pickup something for me I was going to buy in another town that he happened to be going to but he didn't and didn't let me know, thus causing me to miss out on the sale. Plus so what he is my dad, he is not doing anything right now and I am offering to fix his pc free of charge

lol ok whatever, I am willing to fix it for free but he is obviously too lazy to bring it to me. I don't like going to his house anyway, he and my brother smoke and their keyboard is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen

Since when did family charge each other for small favors like fixing a computer? It's way more convenient for you to just drive over and fix it than for him to unplug everything, bring it over, then go back and try to plug everything back in.

This is just bizarre. If my mom asked me to clean the gutters or fix her computer, the first thing going through my mind would not be "that bitch is calling me just so she can have it done for free"
 
I'd just get my ass over there and fix his computer.

My dad has an awesome single malt scotch collection and pretty much every time I'm over at his house we break into it and have great conversations. My dad has some great stories to tell a lots of great life experience.
 
A lot of older people HATE taking PC's in to be fixed because having to crawl around figuring out how to hook everything back up again is a daunting task
for many of them.

It's your father, go over and fix his computer, have a beer with him, he won't be around forever.

But seriously fuck him, if he is to lazy to drive to your house to have his comp fixed for free then fuck it. Just because he is your dad doesnt mean you have to wait on him hand and foot.
