wtf koreans?

"i love the water, but not the sun," said kim su-min, 29, who huddled under her umbrella wearing sunglasses, long shorts and a hooded sweat shirt, her ankles covered with a towel.

lol wut!

you may be surprised to learn that not everyone considers baking themselves to be an enjoyable pastime.

white skin = beauty

in asia anyway.

Yep, most of the models popular in Asia have relatively light skin (compared to the population). My girlfriend (Asian) wants to become whiter.

As an American, blonde-haired ethnic German, my skin is about as white as one can get before going into Ginger territory.

white people tend to be more ruddy than actually white. what asians are going for is the alabaster look.

LOL, title of article sums it up:

"What Kind of Beach Uses 7,937 Umbrellas to Block Out the Sun? A Freaking Weird One."

Sunblock?

Still wont stop you from tanning. I used to use 80 spf block when working at a water park over the summer and I would turn black by the first month.

And yes white skin in Asia is hotness. Dark skin means you're poor and been working in the rice fields all day. My mom til this day tries to cover herself when she drives so she doesnt tan.

Sunblock?

perhaps this is not understood by people who spend all their time in an office building, but some of us actually consider sitting exposed under 100* sun pretty fucking retarded. if i'm going to endure the sun, i'm actually going to be doing something fun (or making money).

Is this why they wear those ridiculous see through visors?

For Asians, dark skin means you're out in the sun all day, most likely performing manual labor (farming or construction) and are thus looked down upon by the bourgeoisie (office workers).

Every bottle of anything that goes on your skin over there (even soap) says *With New SUPER WHITENING Foaming Action!*
