"i love the water, but not the sun," said kim su-min, 29, who huddled under her umbrella wearing sunglasses, long shorts and a hooded sweat shirt, her ankles covered with a towel.

Yep, most of the models popular in Asia have relatively light skin (compared to the population). My girlfriend (Asian) wants to become whiter.
As an American blonde haired ethnic German, my skin is about as white as one can get before going into Ginger territory.
I think the average white guy is better looking than the average asian guy. I think that's' why
you may be surprised to learn that not everyone considers baking themselves to be an enjoyable pastime.
Sunblock?
Sunblock?
Lol... Isnt that the point of going on a beach?? >> Get suntan.
Looks like a good beach. I go to the beach for the waves. Screw you, sun!
Still wont stop you from tanning. I used to use 80 spf block when working at a water park over the summer and I would turn black by the first month.
And yes white skin in Asia is hotness. Dark skin means you're poor and been working in the rice fields all day. My mom til this day tries to cover herself when she drives so she doesnt tan.
