Um yes...just like before.

You're an idiot. The News Feed doesn't tell you anything you already can't find out on your own. In other words, it's not at all intrusive.

Except now it's 100x easier. How would you know that I wrote on someone else's wall or something without checking everyone elses wall everyday? How would you know if I added another friend without checking my friend list everyday and comaring it to the day before? Now if someone's relationship status changes, you'll know immediatly when they change it etc..

If someone writes something on someone else's wall or comments on someone else's photo, then one would have to assume that it is ok of others with access to that wall or photo album to read it. You're complaining that there is a feature that makes it easier for other people to see what they are allowed to see anyways?
If you're worried that it makes it easier for people to stalk you, then I have to ask why do you accept stalkers as a "friend"?

Because people are stupid and childish on said social sites and accept anyone that attempts to befriend them, since they see having a large numbers of 'friends' as some sort of status symbol?

There's a differnce between information being publicly available and publicly announced. For example: You don't have your profile enabled. Why not? Is there some information that you would like to hide? If there is, it doesn't really matter because a simple google search of your username could probably bring up a lot of information about you. So why don't you have your profile enabled?

Does this remove my info from being seen by others? Because if it only removes the news feeds from being viewed by me....then it's pointless and stupid because I can click the X on the feed.
