This is complete bullshit. Never in my LIFE have I heard of a sports organization holding a specific day for a specific religion.
Sure they host church groups' special functions, but they are not pandering to that specific religion - it's no different that getting a group rate for a highschool baseball team or a bachelorette party,.

I could care less. If they want to profit on Jesus, they aren't the first. Hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars are being made on extremely horrible Christian movies right now. They are by far the most profitable movies being made today. Spend a million on a movie with bad acting, poor camera work, bad plot, bad directing, no special effects and make a 100 million on it as the Christians flock to see it.

Doesn't even have to be religious movies. If you want to tap into the Christian market make gay porn.

The dude cannot hit an offspeed pitch, it's why he was crucified in AAA.

Can't hit, can't catch a ball, forever arguing with the ump; what's He doing out there?

WWJD? He'd do the very same thing he did back in the day and pick up a horsewhip to drive them out. These pseudochristians make me want to puke and you're right about the church buying into this crap.

this comment is a good example of the hypocrisy of the tolerant left.

edit: i predict a response, something to the effect of, "waa waa waa, butthurt snowflake bleh."

that would be typical as well of the tolerant left.

this thread and the forum in general is full of sick, sad ppl, srs.

This comment is a good example of the idiocy of the wannabelievers. Mine was based on fact. Christians consume a HUGE amount of porn and they search for gay porn significantly more than average. There's a pretty strong link between latency and homophobia and Christians are the prime example. A lot of people try to pray the gay away and it doesn't work for them.

And BTW, I am neither tolerant nor left. But I do hate hypocrites and people who use 5000 year old fairy tales to justify their fears and hatreds are #1 on that list.

At least if you're going to complain about the tolerant left at least make it about a video game or the fall of the Reichstag or something where it's actually relevant. There's literally no intolerance being displayed.

They're pointing out there's a solid market for gay porn in religious communities. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that whatsoever other than that those folks would probably be better able to live happy fulfilling lives in other ideological circumstances

Why would you care ? Does your anti-faith faith make you give a shit about other citizens religion?

I know this is a foreign concept to you, but I give a shit about other people's well being and happiness. When people talk about "empathy", that's what they mean.

Who said anything about "anti-faith"?
It's about equal playing time for all faiths

Interestingly enough, I just found out the Brewers have a "Faith Night" which at least seems a LITTLE more inclusive than "Christian Day"
I'm still going to bitch to some of the higher ups I know in the organization though :p

Well, Reason Night was an utter failure. Between low attendance and the fact they canceled the game after the first inning due to protracted arguments with the umps, it was an idea that was never meant to be.

Oh I'm well aware of who we've elected time and time again. Painfully remember...
I more-so meant talking to some people at the Brewers organization (I have some friends in high spots)
