WTF!! Dude leaves me negative eBay feedback and didn't even contact me saying there was a problem!!

Sucks, that's the reason you can't leave a positive first as the seller. You'll eventually run into an asswipe, who either will have unreasonable demands for you and hold the threat of a neg over your head, or just flat out punch you with a neg out of the blue.

Also I've seen *many* clueless POS noob buyers who will just leave a neutral when the transaction was completely satisfactory.

What's this squaretrade thing? What do they do?

Can they actually remove feedback and how long does it take. I don't mind paying $20.

Square Trade

Square Trade is a mediator for ebay dispute.
You submit your request for feedback removal.
ST then process the request and contact your buyer for his condition to remove the feedback.
If the buyer stated no condition then your neg will be remove in 7-10 days and you will be charge $20.
If the buyer do not response to ST email, then your neg will be remove in 7-10 days and you will be charge $20.
If the buyer have some conditions then you need to work it out with your buyer before the neg can be remove.

I suggest you try the feedback removal based on false information first.
It does not cost you anything and has quick turn around.
If that does not work then use ST.

You can check out this webiste NFS4.

This is how you can get your negative feedback removed. HOWEVER, it all depends if the other guy wants to play ball or not.

Ebay clearly states that both parties should contact each other to resolve any disputes. Once all attempts have been exhausted, then you may proceed with the negative feedback.

You know where he lives, mail em a turd.

Mail him a turd? NFS4 should fly over there, find out what car he drives and blow it up Gone in 60 Seconds style....OR he can FVCK him up and knock him the FVCK out.

never leave feedback untill they leave a feedback for u, u can use it as a leverage many times to prevent dumbasses fvcking up your feedback, they will think twice about leaving u a neg if u havent left one yet.

That would be a retaliation which is against Ebay rules, they can ban him for that.

NO. we went through this last time when I posted a thread similar to this. HE screwed up by giving you BS negative feedback without contacting you. Feedback IS part of the transaction. By not following ebay guidelines in giving a negative feedback he definitiely deserves it in return.

NO. A buyer may receive a negative feeback ONLY if they fail to uphold their part of the deal. As far as we know, he paid for his purchase, so no negative is warranted. However, he is a retard for posting a negative without giving NFS4 a chance to fix whatever the problem was, that I agree with.

what an ass. with so many positives, i would just take the neg, but post a reply to it. i don't think it's right that if u pay u have to pay $20 to fix this.

Same thing...I left a early positive feedback and I get a neg one 🙁

Link?

AFAIC, the feedback is part of the transaction.

If someone leaves me negative feedback for no good reason, I'm going to return the favor, and there's no way eBay is going to find me guilty of doing something wrong.

That sucks, I agree that eBay is pretty zealous about the contact information stuff though. I got a stupid eBayer kicked off eBay recently who was threatening me with a negative by reporting their invalid email address. Within 24 hours, their account had been suspended. Good luck getting the neg removed!
