cause it's one of the bigger languages? true, i would thus expect versions in chinease or hindi. maybe they are going to add more languages like google did. although google news in hebrew is nice and all, i still read only the english version. i assume the majority will read the english version as well.

On the bottom on my cnn page you can select

"CNN en Espanol | Arabic | Japanese | Korean | Turkish"

and i bet that there will be more available soon. it could just be a matter of some language conversions being done sooner...

Perhaps because there's a war going on in Iraq, and they want arabs to be able to read our version of the news?

not true, I am in China right now, and the version looks exactly like the US version. I can even take a screenshot and we can compare if you like

no, not an *issue*..but i was just surprised that arabic was the next choice right after english..see my screenshots.
