Yes it should be - the webcam above the fire should have "witnessed" the crash across the river. I checked it earlier on and it was raining in sheets. Now where are those flames coming from? Webcam 1 (looking the other way) shoes no fire but it's zoomed way out.

I don't have the connection quality to run the tower cam - I'm 50 miles off the coast of Nova Scotia currently.

Not really, too many buildings in the way and too far away with today's visibility.

doesnt look very convincing for fire. it could be a bright light reflecting off of rain water on the glass.

Sorry all you self-righteous types, but I agree with the point that this is something that happens every day. It's only sad to you because it's a celebrity at the wheel, and it hit a plane in New York, causing mass panic etc.

I heard the other guy in the plane was a flight instructor. Later on I'll express some sympathy, but right now I'm pissed at the lack of competence.
