So there is no way of preventing anyone from reclaiming an account? I was considering buying new CD's starting a new account. Purchase account with chars, after changing all info, transferring chars to new account. I guess that is not safe either? How incredibly lame but I'm not mad at it. It's designed to discourage selling of accounts/chars by giving the buyer zero assurance.

I just wish they would accept that they can choose to retain players or add new ones via account/character sales. I can't believe people looking to buy an account are willing or able to level and build that type of character otherwise. Most people I have seen are like myself, they quit rather then face the long grind again. People argue "level a new char." Well lets do the math, (limited time now, maybe 6-10 hours a week max) I can spend the next 2+ months lvling a new character or playing with my friend who are level'd already. I've been through the level grind at least 8 times on different servers and factions. Again, its like my car analogy. Some people want to build, some people just want to drive. Blizzard has made it more obvious then ever that the game is heavily based on end game content. It's not surprising to see this huge tertiary market of "illegal" services to help speed up that grind. I have no desire to use a cheat program but I also have no desire to spend 4 months releveling and regearing, everything I have done 4-6 times before...

There is never a 100% safe way to achieve something that is against the ToS/spirit of the game.

Oh come on now....

With the new Recruit-A-Friend program you can earn an exclusive Zhevra mount, receive a FREE month of game time,
and gain access to other exciting in-game benefits. From the moment your friend creates a character and starts
playing you?ll both earn triple the experience when grouped together and have the ability to summon one another
from anywhere in the world. Also, for every two levels of experience your friend earns, they can grant one level
of experience to any one of your characters.

Saw that earlier. I'm interested in it for the free levels you can give to lower lvl characters. If I could skip the mid 40s-till late 50's on one of my alts this is tempting to invite a friend of mine that has been border line on trying the game.

Start another character with him that lvls super fast, once he gets high enough redeem the free levels on another alt that I stopped playing lol.

The quest reward exp is also tripled. It does not eat your blue rested XP either. Basically you get to level 3x faster, maybe even faster then that considering the summon once an hour would shave a lot of time. When lvling with a friend, we have lvl'd to 60 in 4 days played and 70 in 5.5-6 or so. With triple, I'd bet a fast tag team could level to 70 in 3 days played or less. The really funny part is that the biggest exploiters of this system will probably be leveling services.
