This isn't funny. The guy is literary dead!

😀

How does that make it any less funny?

They call large branches "widow-makers" for a good reason, and when you leaf your common sense behind you, you find out that a tree's bark can be worse than it's bite...and you can easily lose a limb when the tree looses a limb.😛

Officials moved quickly to evacuate the park Thursday night. Cops in NYPD vans drove along its paths, blasting warnings through loudspeakers.

"Get out of the park," they said. "Branches are falling. It's unsafe."

The Parks Department advised people "to avoid parks if possible this evening and to use caution near street trees."

EVERYBODY PANIC!

Just imagine all the things that had to happen for him to be walking under that tree as the branch broke.

Weather patterns had to be just so. Same with the walking path he took - how long it took to eat, shower, get dressed. How long the tree was there. How much stress the tree had been under through it's life to that point. A million tiny event over time added up to his death. But that it true for every day life as well

As for the tree related jokes: 😀

No... any place where you've been killed on the spot would be being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

What is wrong with you? Your semantics aren't needed.
If he wanted to argue semantics, it would be "you can either me in the right place at the wrong time or the wrong place at the right time". Can't be both. :sneaky:

Many-many-many accidents could have been avoided if you were + or - a couple of seconds. 🙁
