Oh, OK. Its over.
Sorry. I was late delivering the message.
Anyway, the start of the presentation had Jessica Alba. I dont know if thats good or bad.
I feel like the whole theme of Windows Phone 8 (and maybe 7/7.5 too) is just colors. Bright colors. Colored tiles, colored phones, color color color! It's not just car colors, it HAS to be bright fluorescent colors.

I really liked what they showed today. I'm not seeing any reason to move away from the WP ecosystem for me personally. I'm heavily invested in Microsoft products (W8, Office, Xbox, SkyDrive and WP7.5) and I like having all of those connected with one account. Looking forward to comparing phones and getting an upgrade to my Focus S in the next couple of weeks.
Did they announce a street date for the phones?
Rumors are November 11 for AT&T devices and the 12th for Verizon's with T-Mobile coming shortly thereafter.
But MS is leaving it to the carriers to make those official announcements.
Here's hoping the full retail prices aren't ridiculous. I'm on tmobile's $30 plan and don't plan on changing that anytime soon.
People like having some level of uniqueness. And phones are to some degree an accessory to many people. The choice of colors are no different than Apple have half a dozen color choices for iPods. And when it comes to the tiles it's just another level of customization you can do. You can change colors to fit your mood or personality.
It's a nice change in a market that was otherwise known for a sea of black and white.
Me too.
You have to accept paying full price for phones from time to time if you are gonna go pre-paid.
And it will be expensive. Ridiculous is a relative term. What do you wanna pay? 400? Thats not happening. Plan on closer to 600.
