Wow

..I am surprised; the dvd-quality trailer makes the movie seem quite a bit more bearable...until you get to the title "revenge of the sith"

What was Lucas thinking?!

Winnar!

That's exactly why this one's titled Revenge of the Sith.

Revenge isn't a characteristic of a Jedi.. but for the sith however.... *cue imperial march*

Aw, but it will be cute. Anakin, murdering all those Jedi. Fun for the kiddies!

Lucas is strange. So does he want to be cutsey for the kids or does he want to be dark?

Me too. 😀 When the screen went black after one preview and stayed black as I heard the first few bars of that awesome music, I frickin froze in my seat. 😀

meh. I'll see it on opening night, come home, and write a post in ATOT complaining about how crappy it was.

George Lucas and Star Wars just don't mix, and we haven't been given any reason to think that it won't be as craptastic as the past 2 films.

Saw a trailer before The Incredibles

This one's going to suck as did the last two movies.

Such a pity that LucASS is such an....ASS.

You weren't alive when Ep4 came out, were you?

would me being 4 years older somehow make Ep 4 less of a cheesefest?

fact is, the best Star Wars movie was the one he didn't direct (Empire Strikes Back).

Yes, as a matter of fact, it would make a huge difference. Movies(especially sci-fi movies) made in the 60's and 70's were different than movies made today. Just watch some of the sci-fi movies from the pre-Star Wars era and you will see what I mean. Star Wars was like nothing anyone had ever seen before. The special effects, the story, the action and adventure, everything. If you didn't see Star Wars when it was originally released, you have no idea how revolutionary it really was. At the time it was released, it was by far, the greatest adventure film ever made. I remember going to try to get tickets and the line wrapped completely around the entire 4-screen theater building. Lines were like this for weeks after opening day. I was 7 years old when it was released and I saw the movie at least 5 times in theaters.

Lucas made one good movie, that one. The next two were not even written by him nor directed. I think that main reason that Ep5 is thought to be the best is because it was created by Leigh Brackett. These new movies suck and the main reason for them sucking is Lucas.
