This legal stuff doesent matter in my eyes anyway as I am not in charge of that part. Thats why we have attorneys.

Crazy lady, sheesh.

Dude, it's really not worth pursuing legally. Go get another dog - you'll fall just in love with it, I promise.

This is not just over the dog. Its the fact that this lady is insane and deserves to be punished. We all can't morally sit there while she could very well possibly to this same thing to other people. That would be like letting a crime go on.

There are a lot of crazy people out there. If you want to invest your time and money going after her, good for you. It's going to be much less heartache and headache for you if you let it go though.

Just a question, not meaning to be offensive. How old are you?

The difference between a felony and a misdemeanor.

Yep. $250 still qualifies for small claims court. The most a court is going to make her do really is pay back your cash.

Question: Why did you allow her inside your house at the end? There was no warrant from what i read.

We arent going to sue her or anything..we are going to let the police handle it and hopefully get our dog back. I am 17.

Its not really about the money though. Its about this insane lady and OUR dog. By her cashing the check, it is a contract. Thats the point. Therefore it is our dog and she trespassed on the property without right to do so and took the dog.

We didnt let her in the house. She let herself in. The cops were in front of her when we answered the door. The cops walked in and she followed and went on to take the dog.

Thank you!!! Does no one else see that all of these problems were caused by the GF's mom's big trap and obsession to talk too much?

You are quite right. This is what we have said all along, and she didnt realize this until this lady started being psychotic unfortunately.

My girlfriend and I realized this from the beginning when she wouldnt give him back to us in the first place. But of course we werent going to blame it on her because she was just being honest. Thats just what she does. Its still not her fault because she didnt know this lady would react this way, but yes if she did not say these things this wouldnt have happened.

Cockerspaniels are about as smart as a bag full of rock, chalk it up as not a complete loss, and get a smarter dog.

All this for a dog? No offense, but I think both you and the dog lady are obsessive - and this from a guy who once wrote letters from the US to his 14-year old German Spitz in India

Have you ever met a girl? An insane lady came into her house and stole a dog that she loved while there was nothing she could do. Thats like a girls worst nightmare.

Yeah...if she's 12.

EDIT: Just noticed you said you were 17; a dog probably ranks a little high on one's relationship scale at that age. Even so, it is difficult to understand why you and your gf are so distraught over a dog. Sure, anybody would feel bad, but you made it sound like the most inhuman and cruel crime had been committed!

Solution:

Get a bigger shock collar, strap it on the crazy lady and keep hitting the button until she stops kicking.

What is wrong with people these days?!?

NEVER let a cop into your house without a warrant.

Warrant was unnecessary...they werent searching anything.
