Also, *yawn* - you could do the same damn things with BeOS 10 years ago. (I think, it was plying too fast to see much of what was going one, other than multiple movies/games playing at once.)



Ok, it played at normal speed in IE. Yeah, those are some neat effects, I suppose. The game window having transparency was cool.

that is some pretty crazy stuff - but I've never seen why this shouldn't be possible by offloading much of the video processing. simply interactive pretty pictures ain't too tough

that was pretty cool. If it's that good, it may force me to rethink my next laptop. I was shooting for a MacBookPro, but since XGL is coming soon, I may just get a nice Thinkpad from Lenovo and run Ubuntu instead. Neither solution precludes me from dual-booting XP albeit the Thinkpad will be a little easier to do.
