Had to shut down their hundreds of servers because of heating issues. The HVACs went down and are now only starting to come back up. Good lord it is hotter than a mother @#$@#$ in there.

Obviously they had power of some sort because the servers were still online but their cooling system went out, maybe from the surge.
 
Apparently myspace has never considered implementing GSLB or at least plain vanilla dns load balancing to multiple datacenters.
