I almost don't know where to stand on all of this though. I definitely admire McCain for standing up to not only her, but other vitriolic remarks made during that rally; however, I strongly believe they created all this hatred with the overly negative campaign they have been running.
I live in FL and have been barraged by campaign ads for months now. They are on ALL the time, from both candidates. McCain's ads have ALL been negative, in fact, i've yet to see a single one where they just say how great McCain is, it's all attacks on Obama. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see a positive McCain ad where they simply promote his policies and differences, I can respect those, but when all you do is 'attack attack attack', you bring out the worst in people who are willing to win at all costs.
