How ever much I like TCWO, I just bought an athlon from them, this would be the second pricing error they've had in about 3 weeks, they were also the ones who put the ridiculously low prices in Computer Shopper/Maximum PC for the athlon XP.

Now I know this might be a coincidence but I wonder how much extra revenue they've generated in the last month?

<< I got the 1st confirmation email, but not the 2nd. Has anyone got 2 confirmation emails yet? First one says:

"Thank you for your order. We value you as a
customer and appreciate your business.

Shortly you will receive an order number verifying
that we have received and processed your order.

Thank you again for your business!

TCWO Staff"

Whoa there John... Your first post was att 9:48 PM and the second was at 11:15 PM. Suince that second email has your order tracking information, how are they going to print and pull your order when the business is CLOSED for the night? ;)

Anyone that has written for a magazine or placed ads in a magazine knows why the prices in the magazine were so off. Due to production and editing times, everything you read in a brand new magazine was submitted more than two months ago. In an industry as volatile as the PC industry; can you imagine guessing what the prices of CPUs would be two months down the road? Hell... I couldn't even do that with bicycle parts when I had a bike shop (used to advertise in Dirt Rag), never mind computer parts! :p

I think that it might be legit. They did specifically say only one order per person. You can find the board and processor for less than that all over the web. I doubt they would put that disclaimer for just the board or processor. I hope it is legit. (because I was one of the first to order last night) BTW....Thanks for the post U2ForNow

Will this motherboard work with Windows XP? I don't see any Win XP drivers on their web page. That could be bad.

John... Take some St. Johns Wort or something. ;)

First your freaking out because no one is at the store to process an order at 3AM and now you're worried about XP working on the board.

It's a motherboard with an AMD761 Northbridge, 686B Southbridge, Highpoint 370 RAID controller and on board VIA AC97 sound. OF COURSE XP is going to work on it! XP has native drivers for ALL of those devices.
