Buy this and return the old cpu to newegg.

This board is slower than kt266a, but it's probably more stable.
I hope this isn't like the BB GF4 bait-and-switch.

Knowing TCWO and the traffic Anandtech generates... I'd say that the hour and a half that this thread was "alive" was just enough to sell out that board. I also have the feeling, because of the regular price of the CPU and fan alone, that this has got to be a pricing error!

Anyhoo... I noticed a lot of people asking about that board. I wrote the Systemlogic review mentioned above on that board. Gotta admit that it's the best damn Athlon board I've used. I even wrote a review on the same site for the Iwill XP333R board that I'm using now and although I can overclock better on the Iwill than on the Biostar, the Biostar gave me better memory scores with my PC2700 RAM at 140 MHz than the Iwill board and it was more stable at that speed. If it wasn't such a pain in the ass to switch boards back and forth, the Biostar would be back in there.

Being how they sold the 1700 alone for more then the CPU and the board. Looks like we will getting the DEAR John letter soon...

I think this price was for the board only.

Oh well, can always hope...

I didn't get in on it, but I think it was legitimate. Had the correct image and description plus the 1 per day limit which usually means it is a good deal and they do not want anyone to take advantage of it.
