Down for regularly scheduled maintenance, are we that dense? They make it pretty clear that the servers go down once a week during off-peak times.

Are you kidding? The bandwidth alone costs them thousands of dollars a month, plus the upkeep on the server farms, not just servers. And yeah, new content, fixing bugs, developing the sequel and the expansion packs.

The GMs are outsourced like any technical support now a days. I doubt they get paid more than $2/hr. In addition, everything they say is scripted. I wouldn't be surprised if all the GMs are genetically altered monkeys.
