LOL..I've played both at my friend's house...and I have to say that EQII blows WoW away...the sad part is I HATE SOE, however, 4 years in development, the NPC voicing, etc...has paid off. It's frigg'n awesome. The only bad things is the non-pvp stuff unless you play on a PVP server and not the pet system that WoW has.

i though EQ is purely PvE that is why i would never touch it

It means that the following are advantages for WoW vs. EQII:

1. WoW has a better pet system
2. WoW has PvP on all servers, not just PvP servers.
 
after an hour of clicking .. i got the key awhile ago... to bad wow site is down now...

bb in 5 hours .. work hopefulyl by then its up again heh

Maybe I'm just cynical, but it seems pretty easy to anticipate the demand forr the open beta? They had apps for closed beta and stress test already to anticipate the loads...
Wanted to try this before EQ arrives tomorrow... oh well.

Thanks for the continued updates Chompman. I hope I can get a key from WoWs signups....if not I will feel sick for several days.

Then again, if I do get one I will probably pretend to feel sick for several days so I can stay home and play! 😀

they really can not plead ignorance now i mean with all the people that signed up for the ST you would think that blizzard would expect at least 400,000- 1 million hits
