I paged a GM and there was no way to get my corpse. I had to use the ghost to resurect.

BTW - This game is awesome! It's great for soloing and the quests are pretty interesting and worthwhile. I think I love my toon, too. 😛

Don't get too in love with it.

More then likely a wipe once game comes out.

It's why I am trying a horde something instead of my future dwarf paladin that I did in the 1st stress test.

Open Beta will be free to all. 🙂

However, Blizzard has stated their will be a limited number of Open Beta spots available. I am sure there will be a mad rush once they do open the sign-ups. The FilePlanet folks who are in Stress Test now will be carried over into Open Beta.

I've been playing for little less than a week now and I LOVE THIS GAME. At first when you start, it doesn't necessarily blow you away. But as you work through the quests and begin to learn the game, it really really begins to grow on you. The graphics/artwork and attention to detail in the game are stunning. The quest system surpasses what I had imagined it would be. You can even keep "clicking" on NPCs to get their trademark Warcraft responses "Stop touching me!"

Probably through Fileplanet. I really don't think Blizzard has the bandwidth to distribute the game to every open beta tester.

They may do something like they did with the first stress test - if you had a (free) fileplanet account (the one you need to download anything from them), you filled out a form for a key and they emailed it to you along with a download link that dropped you in a queue.

No one really knows what time it will start. There was a thing on the website last week that said open beta would start 5-7 days after the stress test started, 7 days will be tomorrow at around 4pm EST. Before last week I'd have said they'd give a 1-2 day notice so people could get the client downloaded (like they did with the first ST) but they may not this time (they didn't with this stress test)

theres a lot of seeds and a lot of clients, but the speeds are horrendously slow. Right now I'm at 10 seeds, 37 peers and i'm only getting 20KBps down.

pretty ok for me. I am at 40-50KB/s
