And just where do you see it in the article that she's faking it? If you were abducted and held against your will, I bet there would be inconsistencies in your story too.

I took part in a search for her. Any other UW-Madison student on this board (sparkyclarky) can vouch that you could cut the tension in the air with a knife while she was missing. When I heard the news that she was found yesterday I was euphoric. How dare any of you can say that she was lying from the report of "inconsistencies". This is an insult to the Madison community.

Ummm... pardon me for asking, and I certainly do not mean this to be sarcastic, but... well, how is it an insult to Madison County if she lied about all this?

I was not with her and have no idea what happened. I dont know if she is lying or telling the truth, but in any case, every single person who spent even one minute looking for her or helping those that were looking for her are heros. Absolutely to be commended and saluted.

🙂

Not the county...the City of Madison. I'm saying that implying that she faked it is an insult to the entire community. We are close knit, even with a campus of 40,000 and a city of even more. This has to be genuine.
Beller0ph1, I think the ATOT community deserves an apology for having to read your mindless drivel. There are crazy people everywhere... just because your a tight knit community doesn't mean others are insulting you for suspecting a lie, with now obvious reason.

BELLER0PH1'S APOLOGY
Alright, alright, I was wrong. I guess I just felt a little scared for the rest of the community. Her disappearance brought the community together and it also brought up a bunch of issues. I met her friends. I joined a search to look for her, so it hit rather close to home. Just some of the comments on this board made me get rather defensive. I saw some of them as a lack of compassion. What if she was really abducted and we didn't do anything about it. Given that, I would rather have this situation, where she faked it and we went out of our way to find her. Sure turned out better with her found, alive, and lying than dead, floating upside-down in Lake Mendota.
