The thought that she was faking it crossed my mind when I read that she was attacked in February because she said she was knocked unconscious and later woke up. I just thought it was strange that someone would knock someone down and just leave.

Police wouldnt release any details of her kidnapping or how she was found

Police said her attacker had a knife and a gun, but she was unharmed

She said she had sore muscles from being tied up, but police wouldnt say she was found tied up

She was found alive in a swamp. Most people that are kidnapped and found in swamps are missing a few pieces

Hey I remember hearing on Greta last night that there was no gun. And they would not answer any more questions, cause they wanted her to bond with her family. And they also said that the description came from the girl and another witness.

I took part in a search for her. Any other UW-Madison student on this board (sparkyclarky) can vouch that you could cut the tension in the air with a knife while she was missing. no...I think alot of us were worried about her. She was in my prayers from the time I heard about it until the time she was found. I was greatful when she was found alive.

But now that these few details have came out, it makes me kind of suspicious. I dont know the girl, dont know what happenned, but I sure do have a lot of questions.

Ummm... pardon me for asking, and I certainly do not mean this to be sarcastic, but... well, how is it an insult to Madison County if she lied about all this?

I was not with her and have no idea what happened. I dont know if she is lying or telling the truth, but in any case, every single person who spent even one minute looking for her or helping those that were looking for her are heros. Absolutely to be commended and saluted.

Not the county...the City of Madison. I'm saying that implying that she faked it is an insult to the entire community. We are close knit, even with a campus of 40,000 and a city of even more. This has to be genuine.

eh? thats lame. yeah so you are a tight knit community. But it does not say anything bad about Madison. So one women may have lied about being abducted. I would think that the reaction of the town is something to be proud of.

One persons actions do not put a black eye on a city. What they did to try and find her are more important. sheesh.


If you think its a insult then tuff. The news has been saying that there is a chance that she faked it. The police even changed it from an abduction to a possible abduction. sorry if that insults you..actually no I'm not. if you don't like that then thats really to bad.
