The worst part is going to be waking up with your crispy skin stuck to the sheets. Youch.

What's really fun is when you shave your head, forget to put sunscreen on, and then your fvcking scalp peels off (THICK too). Oh ya, it's also fun when you put aloe gel on to help moisturize and heal the skin, and then the next day it starts oozing back out of the pours in your head, because your head was so dried out it simply absorbed the gel.

go to CVS and look for sunburn cream. there's this one i use ( don't have it with me so can't give you name) but i really helps. i also get burned easily and the easiest way is to prevent it. i've heard the sour cream put on hte burn helps. i'd go with the moisturizer as Lola said and drink a lot of water.

Noxema takes the sting/heat out, but only briefly. The best stuff I've found is an aloe vera sunburn relief gel that has lidocaine in it. Cools and relieves the pain. I can't recall the name of what I have, but this is similar.

vitamin E cream helps with the peeling. Make sure you don't scratch after you apply. it gets ITCHY.

I know from personal experience. I'm probably the whitest guy on earth, and i'm asian. what irony... Anyways, I get burned real fast, like in the neighbourhood of 10 minutes? I even got burned on a cloudy day. Anyways, aloe helps with the burn itself, and vitamin E helps with the skin peeling/healing.

Btw, try the new spray sun tan lotions. They arn't greasy, and they're waterproof. (my two main problems with traditional grease sun tan lotion.)

oh yeah. I also have the real aloe-vera plant growing in my room lol. Yeah, I'm that bad with sunburns. I don't know how effective it is compared to gel though. I don't feel like doing a test =p.

I used to get wicked sunburns when I would go surfing. I wouldnt apply any sunscreen and would be out in the water all day. After a while I wised up and got myself some sun block...best idea ever.

FYI, the UV rays that affect your skin are the same whether there are clouds out or not. How strong the visible light is to your eye makes no difference.
