I don't dig George's politics and hoped he'd never be re-elected.
I really thought that the buzz over that movie would help.
It sucked. I made it half way through.
It was so biased it lost all credibility in my eyes.
A few years ago PBS had a special on that outlined the careers and history of George Jr. and Al Gore. It was factual and unbiased (as it could be).
It really shed light on who those guys were, where they came from, how they grew up, what they had accomplished, and their shortcomings.
It painted George as a playboy underachieving boss's kid.
It painted Al as a too-good-to-be-true, born to serve, 3rd generation politician.
In the end, even though I supported Al, I liked George more because he was a regular guy. I still admire him tremendously as a human being, but dislike his business and political stance. He's the kind of guy that'd be fun to have dinner with. He's "real".
Al was a squeaky clean, polished, born and bred politician. Nuff said.
