Wow... Fahrenheit 9/11 really does suck!

No matter what my position is on the issue, it's way too single sided!

Dad and I were watching it and ended up just stopping half way through

Well it is liberal propoganda. It's not like they're going to tell you the conservative side...

Anyway I'm somewhat liberal myself, but the film was all half truths, especially about the canadian aspect....

I saw it and I thought it had some good and valid points. I didn't like it when Moore said that movie was a documentary. Propaganda is more like it.

Especially about the Moon and Mars landings being a hoax.

For more on the Mars hoax, a good companion documentary is "Capricorn One," it really blows the lid off the NASA conspiracy. When you see who one of the main whistleblowers is you'll understand why he was later framed for murder.

the whole thing was f-ing stupid.

if people really truly took that seriously, then I have little hope for society. While I agree 100% with differentiating opinions, that "movie" (at BEST) was a joke. for him to call it a "documentary" is absolutely ridiculous.

Okay, I'm prepared for your arguments as to how there is any doubt that it is a movie? Oh, you think it's a movie "at best"? How gracious of you! I have a feeling you don't even understand why it isn't really a documentary, and are probably just parroting talking head rhetoric.

As for the movie, I thought it was trite and plodding. The heavy duty appeal to emotions with the woman who's son died in Iraq was pathetic, and the points were hammered in with way too heavy a hand.

the entire thing was OBVIOUSLY designed to appeal to weak-minded individuals. You're a conservative? fine. You're a liberal? fine. Either way, make your own opinions based on FACTS, not twisted propaganda targeted towards youths.

I think you have a stick up your ass. You sound pompous.

I saw this movie on a date (not my idea). I got no action that night and instead a lot of thoughtful discussion :| Movie itself wasn't bad IMO. It doesn't even pretend to lean into the middle which is refreshing (no 'fair and balanced' BS)
