Used to be a decent diet soda drinker - and I have to agree that Coke Zero wasn't half bad.
However... I've take on a new dieting.. one where my drinks actually have calories. I have dropped all soda (Except an occasional Diet Monster for HORRIBLE nights of sleep) and opted to go for any juice that is 100% juice. It's actually worked pretty nicely, there are calories in juice, so you have to watch it. I can't speak for health nut retards that say drinking juice is going to somehow help you calorie wise, because last I checked a calorie is a calorie.
What I do with juice is fill up the cup with ice, then toss the juice in so that it gets a nice balance of water and juice to make it last longer.
Juice is fine, but the problem is the acid is terrible for your teeth (it's a lot stronger than sodas), and 1 16oz glass of orange juice is like eating 12 oranges. Adding 3/4 water to 1/4 juice works pretty well.
