WOW!!! Check out Apple's Tiger OS!!!!!!

The WWDC Keynote address has been available at Apple.com as streaming Quicktime ever since the conference.

Wow, the new version of iChat is really cool. I'm curious how well the Spotlight search REALLY works, though. If it's anything like Windows XP's "search" tool, I'll pass.

Yeah... It's definately time for Microsoft to release a updated version of Netmeeting. I hope that Bill's cronies were taking notes.

What sort of graphics language does an Apple X series OS use for Aqua? Is it a proprietary Apple thing or is it based off of OpenGL? I'm trying to figure out of DirectX 10 or 11 or whatever ships with Longhorn will be even better.

But if it's anything like iTunes search, it will be amazing.

so now you'll never have to leave the house to talk with friends? oh wait, you probably don't have friends if that makes you so excited.... and i doubt leaving the house was ever a #1 priority.

I can see how it might work for businesses though.

Pretty sure it's OpenGL, not positive though.

Wow, an operating system for the masses, why don't they just call it AOL Tiger??? Long horn will stick its horns up tigers ass and prance around with it.

Improved search is always nice, but nothing "revolutionary". It's more of a natural progression. I don't remember the last time I couldn't find something important regardless of the os I'm using.
iChat is cool, but I wouldn't use it because I'd rather just have voice so my screen is free to use for some program. It looked great though, very slick.

I think not.
