i don't get why people ask for gameplay help for specific games on this forum. the game's official forums would be 10000x better for this stuff.
even game tech support questions would be better off asked at that game's specific forum.
i just don't get it.

You're right, we should just shut this forum down completely and discuss WAL stuff....oh wait, that should be done on Microsoft's website. How about programming? No wait, there are forums on the internet focusing on those exact languages discussed with more experienced people. Hrm, well lets discuss why we like certain software, no wait...there are review forums for those specific softwares we might discuss like video games.
just don't get it either.....I guess we cannot discuss anything relative to your concerns pontifex.

yeah, because i said we can't talk about anything here, right?
go die.
so you think that one forum that has nothing to do with the game, where there may be a chance that no one else who plays the game comes here, or may not even have any clue about warrior talents, is better than a forum thats dedicated to the stuff he is asking?
seems common sense to me, but of course, most people these days have no common sense.

Well, according to your logic, we shouldnt be talking about anything here if it has it's own specified forum somewhere else.
Let me tell you something Mr I-signed-up-for-these-forums-less-than-1-month-ago. I've been posting here for quite a bit now (almost 2 years). I know ALOT of the people who regular these forums. Enough to know that there are quite a bit that play WoW (and that i've had the pleasure to play with). I value their opinion and wanted to know what they thought on this subject. Does that make sense to you? I'm guessing probably not since you seem to have zero social skills.
Oh, and as far as the "go die" comment you made -grow up. No one cares about you or the sh!t you have to say.

Have a good PvE and PvP build?
I'd say I have a fair bit of experience seeing as I've done all of the above, started out with a cookie cutter build(31 arms/20 fury) and a big 2hander, this is a very nice build all around since it's by far the best for PvP while being a very viable PvE build as well.
Typical cookie cutter.
This will vary slightly, obviously you pick whatever weapon spec you need for your weapon(except mace, that spec sucks so hard I'd even pick 2h spec over it), and some people like imp execute instead of enrage, imp demo shout instead of booming voice, but you get the general idea.
When we were fighting our way through MC I respeced to prot(don't remember the exact distribution of talents, something like this).
You'll note there are 3 points left out in the build, those are the ones I had a problem deciding on.
For smaller instances I could see Imp Revenge being nice since a 3 sec stun now and then will mean a lot of damage mitigation, I didn't spend it on that though, I frankly don't remember what I spent it on.
Prot sucks big for PvP and solo play since your DPS is gimpen beyond recognition, and it isn't really all that for tanking either, so unless you're the MT in an MC capable guild, I wouldn't bother, and even for MC it's not really needed if you have good gear.
My current build is a Fury/dw build.
This is a very nice build overall, I've focused it around PvE DPS rather than PvP, so it doesn't hold up against the cookie cutter for PvP, but it cuts through mobs very quickly.
The problem with this kind of build is that getting good gear is far harder than it is for the cookie cutter, since big bad two handers are abundant throughout the game, whereas good one handers aren't.
Not to mention you'll need lots of +hit to be effective, and you'll need to sacrifice some +crit for that.
Again, this is a nice build, but I wouldn't really recommend it until you know you can get your hand on some good equipment for it.
My fury build.
For max DPS imp HS isn't bad, but since this is for PvE I neglected that since HS pulls a lot of agro, and hence spamming it is a good way to get yourself killed.
Of course, the type of server you play on matters as well, I play on a PvP server, so being somewhat capable in PvP is a good thing, which is why the cookie cutter is so nice for leveling.

I don't need a talent calulator, there is one on the official WoW site. I'm asking for advice from other, experienced Warriors, on where to distribute my points.

1.) Well said Sunner.
2.) I've leveled 2 60's and a 50 and can honestly recommend that for leveling, go all dps. You level faster that way, and generally do alright in pvp. Then, once you are 60, respec to whatever benefits the group the most. For some classes they might have decide if they want to give up their damage output, in order to help the group better (e.g. Palis and Priests). In this case however, it sounds like you don't have to make that decision because cookie cutter dmg output is fine for pve instances. If your group is having trouble though, a protection spec might get you over the hump.
3.) Thank you, Anandtech for providing us with software - apps, programming and games forums so that we may freely discuss software - apps, programming and games with our friends and associates.
