It doesn't matter. It could be 1000 years.

So in other words, we should be bringing up stuff that happened years and years ago when it has no relevance to today? Boy, good job opening up a can of worms xzeroII

Ok, this is the LAST time I am going to explain this. IF YOU CLAIM THAT YOU WILL NEVER FORGIVE TERRORISM, YET YOU FORGIVE YOU OWN COUNTRY FOR TERRORISM, YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE.

THAT IS THE ONLY MEANING OF MY FREAKING POST. GOT IT? OR DO YOU NEED ME TO DRAW YOU A FREAKING DIAGRAM?

I think they're just mad about MXC. Over there it was a critically acclaimed drama and we've turned it into a comedy show. :(

Funny considering how all the world has forgiven US for how badly they treated Natives and Africans.

The US isnt alone in the mistreatment of natives or africans. Short memories people have.

Get rid of the xenophobia and hidden racism. I love how you categorize a small segment of the Japanese population and group them as the whole people of Japan. Your childish attempts at humor are pathetic as well. Good one there, Billy.

i think a diagram for yourself would be nice. please remember to include the fact that the majority of Japanese people alive today were not even born at the time of ww2. :D

Who says that Japan has forgiven itself. In the past few years there have been many statements of apology by Japan.

Quite so, quite so. Africans sold other tribes into slavery, to both Americans and Europeans. The Japanese have driven off and oppressed the indigenous Ainu (which are caucasians oddly enough) in much the same way the US Federal goverment drove off the Cherokee, the Sioux, and the Cheyenne. Short memories indeed.

it isn't a short memory issue for me but rather a lack of respect for the concepts of moral relativism.

Yeah if other people did bad things then what America did is alright. NO It is terrible what America did and it is terrible what other people/nations did. Can you say "America did terrible things"?

Some people here like to forget about any and all history, mainly because their history is horrible.

Maybe I can buy some of these off of eBay :D

Now, tell me what that statement has to do with when anyone was born. Where do you people get these crazy ideas? It's like you just make up stuff in your head and claim that other people said it!

Commander, a little help for ya. ;)

In your original post change 'your own country' to 'others'. How's that? Your meaning is still intact, yet it'd be a little tougher for others to misunderstand you. ;)

When snow falls on a mountain it's white. Now please don't try to read anything into that. I mention it only because it's true. I wasn't trying to change the subject or create a deep conversation on the reflective qualities of ice. I wasn't saying that just because show is white that white people are better or anything like that. I just pulled this out of my ass. I always like to add some pertinent self evident truth to the mix whenever I can. And did you know, too, that everybody's a hypocrite. Just mentioning it. Don't mean to draw any focus away on how the Japanese feel about Bush. They're a bunch of hypocrites but then so am I. La la la la. :D

See the problem here XZ is that you're confusing some people with your misuse of the word "terror." See, it's not terror when you do it yourself. At that point, it's "collateral damage" or the "horrible realities of war" or "the ends justify the means" or any number of niceties that distract from the issue at hand. So the Japanese would never consider whatever they did as "terrorism" and therefore they cannot be hypocrites. Much the way America avoids the label via a similar process.

I find it disturbing that they are somehow confusing Bush with a Viking...
