well, crashes a lot, and it takes 1.5 hours to get through the queue so you can get back in game.

<-- currently waiting in queue to logon to a server.

I love it.

Just my main server is one of the 4 that will be down for 3 days so they can force people to get off those servers and get on others since they were so full. :D

Just playing on a different server as alliance side since you can't be both sides on one server.

Not many crashes here so not sure what Cattlegod's problem is. :p

Though the queue is kind of annoying.

Not worth playing right now too many problems. Wait another month and check the battle.net WOW forum and at that time make your decision.

Tell me please, how the concept of the game differs from say Diablo 2. From what I see/read, it's the same concept, start a guy, build him up with powers and skills, and go around in a group and do quests (similar to what D2 was like)........

as crazy as it sounds, yes.

14 bucks a month so we can wait in line 1.5 hours before we play.

oh, and if you go link dead, or the client crashes, or the server dumps you for whatever reason. 1.5 more hours.

The game is having a rocky start but should settle with no queue over the next month and if it doesnt then Blizzard ripped off all it's customers charging a fee to play but not providing the playtime people are paying for. Right now if your busy and only have a few hours to play every day or every other day and you are in que you wont be playing much at all. If you have all day to play and can watch tv or something else then the queue isnt so bad but still sucks. Like I said wait a month, read the wow forums then and see if things are smoothed out. Oh, yeah also watch for people complaining about dupes and hacks and stuff. If you see that in a month then blizzard failed misserably and should be sued. Diablo I & II were free to play online and were riddled with hacks and cheats and dupes and bots and still are. Diablo II was sold with the promise of it being hack free when it first came out, lol.

It should be fixed soon.

Hope it's fixed for the 4 servers down since they have been down for 2 days and another day planned for it and my main server is one of those. :(

Just have to find one of the new servers to prevent this.

Whats with everyone being so pissy about the queue, many games have this implemented [Not so much as a queue, but as a fvck you, the server is full]

I didnt play beta, but so far the experience has been great.
Not sure how many quests there will be after ya finish leveling, thats when the pvp really starts to fire up right?
I'm still not too big on the cartoony graphics.
I still havent crashed, once.
/1[General] Is one of the more annoying things in the game I think, the general chat, obviously. This is why I really enjoyed games like UO, where if a script kiddie is like OMGWTFBBQLOLLERSKATTERSJOONOOB, you can walk of the screen and not hear them, yes i know you can ignore them, thats not the point.

Overall, very fun so far, I just wish you could run a whee bit faster :p

cause you pay them $15 a month to maintain servers and they fall short.

The world is persistent and massively multiplayer; no 8-man games (although there is some instanced content). There's also far more depth in terms of story, content, quests, characters, etc. And, of course, better graphics :)

Agreed, the monthly fee can be worth it, but it should buy minimal downtime, bug fixes, occasional new content, and of course the ability to log in pretty much at will... MMORPGs aren't easy to implement, they're all rocky to begin with and, if understaffed & underqualified like Sony, they're rocky after each patch as well ;) (EQ, SW:G) I expect Blizzard to adapt quickly.

Right now there are 4 servers down because for some reason the game was suggesting everyone join those servers, and lots of guilds chose them. So they became over populated. Mal'Ganis, the server I chose, is down now. So I switched to a Pacific time zone server and it works fine for me now. I don't even know why Blizzard says to use different time zones, because I get the same ping time on both...

Anyway, it's a fun and addicting game. Sure there are some bugs, but it's a new game. I'm sure Blizzard will have it worked out soon.

It is freakin Awesome!

My server (Durotan, East) has went down twice, for about an hour... And a few nights there was the same Loot Lag as there was in teh Beta, but other than that, it is freakin sweet!

The graphics are very good, the lag is non-existant (other than the few times I mentioned), and the gameplay is sweet!

I have a Radeon 9700 Pro and an A64 3000+ and it runs perfectly.

My Vote:

Well, I am already reading reports of bots running in WOW. Ebay has about 200 auctions for gold so I guess the bots are being used to level and find gold. No item's for sale on ebay yet... Regardless of the pay to play it looks like WOW is going to be another bot filled mess just like Diablo II. Very sad. The difference though is that this time Blizzard can probably be sued since people are paying... Another month will tell the full story.

Edit: Make that over 400 acutions for gold. lol Selling from a few bucks to as high as a few hundred bucks.
