Imagine if you will you could have a superpower, but for whatever reason the superpower you are granted is essentially useless to you.
For example: Micah from Heroes. He's got the ability to "talk to electronics". But say if you will Micah was unfortunate enough to live in the middle of the savanna in Africa where "High Tech" is probably a spear with a metal tip.
Or another example: Superman. But instead of landing on Earth, say he landed in a solar system with a red star as its sun.
Would you still want to have the superpower just to have it, in the event that it may somehow be useful at some point in time? Or would it irritate you to no end that it was useless to you?
