I think we all need to be more intelligent about "what gets attention". Instead of focusing on "presentable" media events that fills media companies pockets, let's look above and beyond these items which most of the time make the difference for the world, US as a country and as individuals yourself, me and others

1. US currency: lost 20+ % against other currencies, when you travel abroad now you are 20% poorer than you were 4-5 years ago!.
2. US now owes Chinese government in trillions in treasury bonds and others simply making the 200+ billion annual import/export deficit an irresolvable problem
3. Oversees US product sales took a big hit even when our currency is cheaper!!
4. US has constantly been loosing its attractiveness for foreign talent (remember Einstein was not originally from US but loved the life here!)
5. Dramatic slow down in research and investment loosing our edge on different technologies.

Plenty of blame to go around on that. How could anyone vote for Nagin, Blanco, Etc? How could they have diverted funds previously appropriated to shore up the levies, etc.? No one person is to blame. So I would vote "yes" again.

are you joking or just stupid?

Are you joking or are you just stupid?

wtf is this, kindergarten? no one plays the shadow game anymore, dude....

As opposed to Kerry, yes.

I think the US should start mandating that presidential candidates have a Ph.D. in something that requires a lot of thought, ie. philosophy NOT business. IMHO.
