Too bad we all didn't write in McCain.

And it's too bad Bush's campaign against McCain in 2000 was so viscious. Imagine how different the US would be if McCain had beaten Bush in the primaries. The Republicans have done a lot of bad things, but possibly the worst in recent memory is somehow turning out Bush instead of McCain as the Republican leader for the new century. What were they smoking?

I thought McCain got skin cancer and that's why he didn't run, what's the dirt on McCain anyway? Real or not.

Didn't this thread have a poll to go along with the original post? I could have sworn I saw one the other day.

Assuming I'm not delusional, was it taken down because the results were not to the OP's liking? Is it even possible to do that?

It did have a poll. Apparantely, the OP didn't like the results so "fiddled" with it to make it "appear" to be the results that he/she wanted.

Aaaaaaa, looks like somebody stuffed the ballot box again.
Nah. Felix is simply emulating the lack of integrity and general sliminess of his party's leadership by cheating. He edited the poll to remove all the 'No' votes. I assume he's shooting for a job under Karl Rove. Unfortunately for deScat, Rove requires a more skillful level of slime than that obvious fraud.
Felix should be working for Diebold, no? What a sore loser. HA HA HA. Life? Get one Felix. User should be banned and this thread needs a lock.
Correction: user should be spayed.. ;)

Did anyone catch the final tally before Felix bushed it? I know the "No's" were burying the "Yes's". Wasn't it something like 300 or 400 "No's" to 50 or 60 "Yes's"? Only slightly more lopsided than George's dismal 34% approval rating.
Bump for the late-comers to this thread. There is no longer a poll because Felix is a sore loser.

I wouldn't vote in the election.

Bush's completely impotent second term could actually be a blessing in disguise. Sure, the Democrats don't have much to offer, but this nation is becoming disgusted with the rampant corruption that is moslty consolodated within the Republican Party. Without an idiot in office, a lot of this stuff probably would've gotten shoved under the rug, or blamed somehow on the politically crippled Democratic president.

I would gladly sacrifice. 4 years of government incompetence is worth it if all these corrupt Republicans are out of office for the rest of my life.

I would vote for bush...but then again I don't like things like rights, peace, intelligence, or hopes of a decent future for humanity.

 ditto.

Yup...

And if this crap continues in the next election. As a two party race to see who can drum up more money.

My next vote will be a "NO VOTE"... If you can't see how screwed up the system is. Why play along in the game?

Sad but true....

Would you vote for George W. Bush again?

Yes, if I was on a jury and we were voting to award him a lifetime, all-expense-paid stay in one of our most secure penal institutions, or better yet, in one of the many exotic international locales where his administration sometimes renditions "special" guests. I'd even vote for his whole administration.

QFT.

I can't stand Bush. I think he's an arrogant ass who won't even listen to his advisors, let alone the American people... but then I remember who he was running against when I voted for him.

So if he was running against Kerry, Gore, or Hillary, then hell yes I'd vote for him again. But put him up against someone with a real platform who doesn't sound like an extreme lunatic conspiracy theorist, then I'd vote against him in a heartbeat.

The last two elections brought new meaning to the phrase "the lesser of two evils". I don't vote party lines. I have no affiliation. My views are so split I could really care less about either party. I believe in each for different reasons and I despise and detest each for different reasons.

NONE of the candidates in recent years have been respectable.

Iono why everyone hates the guy so much. They question the war, but if i was in his place, and some punks killed 4,000 innocent people and dropped 2 of the largest structures in the world (not to mention economic center), i would be going to war too. What else? Some call him a redneck, but i don't see how that makes him a bad leader.

"Iono"? What does that mean? Didn't they teach you English in school?

Secondly, there are two wars: The war in Afghanistan, and the war in Iraq. While I wouldn't trivialize Al Qaida by calling them "some punks", you are correct in that the 9/11 action should have provoked a military response, and I feel the government should be perfectly justified in doing whatever it takes to exterminate Al Qaida. In my opinion, the war in Afghanistan didn't go nearly far enough. The war in Iraq, on the other hand, had NOTHING to do with Al Qaida, and the Bush administration lied to us with regard to the reasons why we are currently there.

Please do not vote. You are a fvcking idiot.

omigod, yes!

funny, still no specific examples of this "leadership" we keep hearing about. furthermore, OP removed the poll that conflicted with his/her/its own "opinion". not surprisingly,he/she/it deleted it like it never existed. i use he/she/it cuz if you're still supporting bush at this point, you must be lacking not only a brain but a nervous system in general. therefore you must be some kind of invertebrate, so gender probably doesn't even apply to you.

dollar sinking fast? check.
pork-riddled bills sailing through his office like tumbleweeds, leading to an imminent recession which will be blamed on next president? check.
falsely justified & self-serving war making rich partners/friends richer? check.

if you are not a rich, wealthy cog in the world of corrupt corporate America and you think bush has done anything or could care any less about you, you are so sorely mistaken that i almost pity you.

this country's future would be much more secure if we passed a law to have your mouth sewn shut and your DNA removed from the gene pool ASAP.

GWB is- and hopefully will always be- THE worst president of the United States of America. EVER.

qft again... it's the common theme of this thread (that and only idiots would vote for bush, regardless of who/what he was running against).

i'd vote a moldy tree stump over bush.
