After some google research I have come to the conclusion that that thing is either worth a sh!tload of money (world record) or it's the most realistic looking fake spider ever.

If it's a fake, it's a damn good one... look at the hair on the legs.

Absolutely not. Think of all the other bugs that thing eats every day! I would shoot it with my camera though😉 I think I could get a few decent shots out of it. It looks like an interesting subject.

Lirion, you are the only human being in the world that could take a picture of that THING and make it look beautiful. 🙂

You haven't posted any of your superior work lately, did I miss it? 🙂

Note: Lirion has mad skillz with a camera...he could take a picture of a piece of black construction paper and it would look like the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. 🙂
LOL!

Damnit, this is the second time you've made my monitor moist. :Q 😛

I just haven't been pimping myself so much lately😉 There's some new stuff up on here, if you want to take a look. I'm glad you appreciate my work🙂

I would just let it have the house and move somewhere else.... what if it's raising a family under your bed or in your closet or something? :Q

I would try to smash it with a brick, but I think the brick would start moving.

You know darn well the spider would catch the brick with two legs (never flinching from it's menacing stance, BTW) then, it would hurl it right back at you 2x faster than you threw it.

Better call for backup. :Q

capture it an ebay it. remember how much that stinkin' oversized cheeto went for? i beat this would own that auction...

I caught a pretty good size "Rabid Wolf Spider" in a jar, forgot about him for a couple of weeks and when I noticed the jar sitting there he was dead in a perfectly natural position, I got some casting resin and dropped him in there, polished it up after it set and still have it, a crystal clear 2x1x1 cube with a mean looking spider inside 😀

That would be pretty cool to see.

Its just... Wolf Spider. aka Dock Spider. We have a lot of those.

There is a species that is sometimes called "rabid wolf spider", Lycosa rabida. The problem with common names is that different ones are used in different locales, or even different people in the same locale.
