AA, hate the jaggies. They show up big-time at 10x7, even on my tiny lil 17" CRT, ie. 16" viewable.

If 1024x768 is the optimal resolution of the monitor, then AF would most definitely be my choice, otherwise, I might choose AA.

AF. However at such a low resolution you might not even have to make a choice and you might be able to run both.

What is your card and what game & settings are you using it at?

If you are refering to me, I use a Radeon 9800 Pro using 4xAA/8xAF in every game at max settings(including Far Cry) I play.

Then why do you need choose one or the other given you can run both?

I have been looking through thread about 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024...I noticed 1024 x 768 are better than others...I am curious why?

Humm , i like AA and i love AF , hard question , i need at least 2 AA , 4AF to enjoy a game (9800P) , but @ 1024x786 the AA is even more important so i will vote for AA , jaggies realy s*ux @ that res.

Depends on the monitor size.
I mean at a 21'' monitor 10x7 is a low res, so AA is more neseccary than AF
But at a 17'' monitor 10x7 is the optimal res, and AA is not so neseccary. Here you can use AF more.
Generally though moving to higher res, AA is getting less and AF more needed.

AF for me I almost never run a game with out it. Well actually I run my games with both, but AA would be the first to go if I couldn't stand the slowness.
