Any time you get a new job and the current company offers you more... I always think.. "Why wasn't I worth this much yesterday"... THat normally sums it up for you that the company you are currently at just wants to get by with paying as little as possible even though they know youa re worth more. I'd make them beat the other offer by a large amount to even consider staying... But then I'd probably leave because once they do that they can start looking for your replacement and then let you go and then you're SOL.
